So what makes it the best I have had to date?

Unpacking the Oppo BDP-93 is not a chore. It comes neatly wrapped in an Oppo shopping bag. Right away you can see the nice build quality. Well after a nice break in Sydney, i had the chance to view the new 3D TV Technology from Samsung and Sony, and all I can say is believe the hype, the technology is amazing and to see 3D in your own home is unreal, the main feature of these products that amazed me was the ability to take a 2D source and convert it to 3D with full realism.  The samsung has the ability to change how many dimensional plains you have in your 2D source on the Z Axis from 1 -11 the more plains you choose the more deeper and defined the 3D image.

So now with this technology available we can view all our existing content in 3D plus the new direct to bluray content,  please note that you require a 3D compatible bluray player or a PS3 with firmware update to play the 3D content discs.
